Trial period terms / Return procedure

The following terms and procedure are only applicable for purchases made in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Spain, and Portugal.  If purchasing product outside of these regions, consult with your local authorized Orascoptic dealer about their specific policies.

All sales of Metrex Research, LLC’s Orascoptic loupes and headlights are final and are not subject to returns, exchanges or credit except as specified herein.

All headlight systems and loupes purchases come with our Peace-of-Mind Warranty, Metrex Research, LLC offers a 45-day trial period during which time product can be exchanged.  Products  exchanged during the trial period must be in original condition. This includes all product accessories, all product components and manuals. If the exchanged item has been damaged or altered, the exchange may be denied at the sole discretion of Metrex Research, LLC.

Returns are not allowed except for school purchases, by a student or faculty member, from a dental, hygiene, medical, or veterinary school.  Such purchases can only be returned within forty five (45) days from the date of purchase.

Product cannot be returned or exchanged outside of the trial period.  For exchanged product, Metrex Research, LLC reserves the right to provide the customer with new or like new telescopes.

Before returning or exchanging any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns, trial, or warranty exchanges will be accepted without a RMA number. Please have your invoice number available when calling for a RMA number. This information can be found on your original packing list. To better understand our customer’s needs and concerns, we encourage the practitioner to contact us personally. The specific reason for the return or exchange will be required.
